The service was great despite being short staffed. Before eating at Salt & Char, the two best meals I had ever eaten were at Gordon Ramsay's steak restaurant in Las Vegas and the Saddle River Inn in Saddle River, NJ. The entire experience was worth 2 1/2-hour trip and we are already making plans to return for my birthday.
