does fez die in euphoria
Eddy Chen/HBO, Here's what could have happened to Rue and Fez in.

What is Maddy (Alexa Demie) going to do with that CD she presumably burned a copy of? Is that all in her head or could she be doing at least a version (not necessarily as theatrical) of it? HBO, Credit: “In that split moment, she just thinks about her mom and her little sister, which is something that we’ve never seen her do.”. This is a guy who was probably going to assault an underage Rue in exchange for her Fentanyl trip and only calmed down when Fez agreed to cough up way more money than was deserved. And with Mouse being as sinister as he is, we wouldn’t be shocked if he played like he was gonna say “yeah, we good” and then shot Fez right in the face because he didn’t want to be bothered by whatever risky business Fez had gotten into.

This is a show that doesn't shy away from the darkness of life — after all, the plot picks up following Rue's overdose and stint in rehab — so it wouldn't be out of the question for Euphoria to kill off one of its most beloved characters in the finale. Fezco makes a living selling drugs to teenagers alongside his brother Ashtray, In "Made You Look", his grandmothercan be seen lying in bed in one of his house's rooms.

Here’s what they had to say: Schafer: “I guess you could apply that perspective if you wanted to.

However, it was her family that kept her from getting on the train. “I love you,” Jules said when she was begging Rue to join her. And speaking of dreams, while her father is in fact the only one who interacts with her in this sequence, it can be interpreted is a warning, rather than a red flag that she’s dead. He turns in the money he got from robbing — and brutally beating — one of Mouse’s associates (Was the good doctor a friend? Before leaving Nate’s, Maddy took a DVD and later watched it. You could also believe that Rue snorted her drugs and then just passed out in a state of — ahem — euphoria, but then you’d have to ask questions about where she got the drugs to begin with since she’s been supposedly clean for months at this point. Plus, see the cast and creatives of 'A Black Lady Sketch Show' and 'Our Boys. We’ve been racking our brains since the episode first faded to black, and here’s what we’ve got: Earlier this season, we discussed the theory that Rue has been dead this whole time and the finaleleaves some hints to support that.

In the video sequence, Rue touches her mom and sister, but neither pays any attention to her; however, her father, who is dead, does interact with her, hugging her and then kissing her forehead before disappearing once again. Needless to say, the implication that something terrible could have happened to the fan-favorite character left social media in a panic. But after the credits rolled on the season finale, there was one major question on fans' minds in the wake of the show's cliffhanger ending: What happened to Fez on Euphoria? A buyer?) Or should we be more worried about what means for her? This occurs right after her mom Leslie’s (Nika King) eulogy-like scene and it’s intercut with events that occurred in Rue’s more distant past (her with her dad as a kid, some of their final dinners together, dancing with her sister Gia (Storm Reid), keeping her dad’s hoodie for herself) and her recent past (her time with Jules). That’s a different show isn’t it?

Leslie’s speech also reads somewhat like a eulogy, and the setting does not help — with Rue sitting in a church pew and not being visually acknowledged by her mother. 3.3K Shares Warning: spoilers for Euphoria … “There’s nobody on Jules’ level in her eyes,” Zendaya said in a featurette HBO posted following the episode. There is hope, however. I hope not.” (Read full interview here). And if so, it would match the equally ominous line at the end of “All For Us” where Rue/Zendaya mentions disappearing “into that good night” and a man utters right after “Until then,” perhaps signaling that an overdose resulting in death is inevitable for her, but has not yet occurred. Everyone's favorite summer TV obsession, Euphoria, wrapped up its first season on Sunday, August 4, and it went out the way it came in — by leaving viewers in shock. After all, that closing musical number was certainly a head-scratcher, and we do wonder if we should be reading into what it could mean. Conclusions were not so cut and dry. Since Fez is a fan-favorite who we do not want to kick the bucket (not that we want that for Rue either), our first order of business is assuming that Fez is alive and well (for now) and that the show is playing with us. And … Sure, we saw Jules (Hunter Schafer) get on a train and leave Rue (Zendaya) behind. Going by her reaction, whatever she saw was shocking — maybe Nate’s dad’s (Eric Dane) sex tape with Jules?! While Euphoria‘s season finalehas us more stumped than anything, we appreciate the thought-provoking conclusion that left us on the edge of our seat waiting for next season. The Season 1 finale featured a montage from Rue’s life, including her picking up that hoodie after her father died. In addition, Fez (perhaps unknowingly) traumatized the doctor's son, as he was hiding in the hallway watching the fight, and Mouse could be upset about Fez either terrorizing the family or leaving a witness. Is Rue even really there? There's also the fact that Fez, who viewers have learned lives by some kind of moral code, crossed a line when he chose the house he robbed.

Is Jules coming back?

In the season's penultimate episode, Rue asked him to threaten Nate (Jacob Elordi) in order to stop him from blackmailing and harassing Jules (Hunter Schaefer), and the violent jock retaliated by calling the cops on Fez and his brother, Ashtray (Javon Walton). To further support this theory, earlier in the episode, Leslie reads a letter that she presumably wrote to Rue, alluding to the weird period of time where she was born, but also making mention of a narrator, stating “What if I heard the voice of some narrator who said: ‘Here’s what’s going to happen?” This could be a nod to the prevailing theory that Rue’s omniscient but undependable narrating powers have been bestowed upon her from the grave and that her mother is here to remind her us, the audience, of that fact. Euphoria had its season finale on Sunday and we’re not gonna lie…it left us with more questions than answers. Mouse didn’t reply. Some fans also swear that it’s Fez uttering the “Until then” at the very end of the episode, assuming it’s a nod to him surviving.

The homeowner was a wealthy doctor who had connections to Mouse, which could cause the supplier to seek revenge. What does that music video ending mean for Rue and what in the hell happened to Fez?

After that, we cut to her snorting her drug of choice in her room, seemingly passing out on her bed, and launching straight into an in-show music video of the song “All for Us” by Labrinth featuring Rue, err Zendaya. In the finale, Fez got desperate and robbed a man's house in order to get the money he needed, but when he was confronted, Fez ended up beating the homeowner within an inch of his life in order to get his cash and get away. Here’s hoping Mouse is money hungry enough to just let all of this slide. Rue (Zendaya) was ready to leave her family behind to run away with Jules (Hunter Schafer) in the finale, but in the end, she couldn't bring herself to follow through.
